All roads lead to Rome

All roads lead to Rome is a proverb derived from the Latin expression Mille viae ducunt homines per saecula Romam, A thousand roads will always lead people to Rome.

The term refers to glorious period of the Roman Empire, when the 29 public access ways which were crossing had a final destination Rome, being this way made easier the transport of goods and movement of army inside the Empire.

The expression is used when one wants to emphasize the idea that the goal can be achieved through several ways, the result being the same.
