Franz Seraphicus Grillparzer

Franz Seraphicus Grillparzer, born January 15, 1791, Vienna, Habsburg Empire and died January 21, 1872, Vienna, Austria-Hungary, was an Austrian playwright and poet, a prominent representative of nineteenth-century Austrian drama. He was influenced by writers such as Shakespeare, Lope de Vega and Calderon de la Barca.
